IP Based simply means that our cameras connect to a computer that stores and processes the images. The great advantages are almost too many to mention but let’s hit the high lights.
1. We have the ability to connect both wired and wireless cameras to your infrastructure. The number of cameras is effectively limited only by storage and processing power. Many CCTV systems are available only up to 16 cameras and then you have to have another complete unit with another monitor. Our largest single site deployment is 36 cameras viewable on one 22 inch PC monitor with the availability to instantly change the look and feel of the layout.
2. We can create an unlimited layout design and security levels.
Simple export to DVD, flash drive or E-mail attachments for the police or archive purposes. Since our systems are PC based we are not trapped by a specific vendor and when we want to increase our recording time we simply purchase a bigger hard drive.
3. Additionally, features such as motion detection, zone selection, support for PTZ cameras are all built into the system.
4. Because we have custom designed this system we do not have to buy just one brand of camera. Our list of supported cameras is in the hundreds from scores of vendors
